SERAPH History

SERAPH, Inc. is a consulting and training firm headquartered in Southeastern, Pennsylvania. SERAPH provides services related to the prevention and resolution of security and safety related problems.

SERAPH was founded in 1996 by Dale Yeager and Sam Sulliman, as a company specializing in training and consulting for the law enforcement industry. The company has grown rapidly to offer a complete portfolio of security related services.

Secretary – Director of Business Processes – Dr. Thomas Buchanan

Dr. Buchanan is currently the Deputy Dean at the University of Delaware and the Laird Professor & Deputy Dean of Engineering.

He holds degrees from many prestigious Universities: BS – Applied Mechanics & Engineering Sciences University of California, MS – Biomedical Engineering Northwestern University, PhD – Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Northwestern University and Post Doctoral work in Brain Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Buchanan has received several key honors: Fellow – American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Fellow – American Institute for Medical & Biological Engineering, Fellow – American College of Sports Medicine, President – American Society of Biomechanics, Raine Professor, University of Western Australia.

Chris DeVol

Mr. DeVol attended Penn State University, where he graduated with a major in Real Estate. Mr. DeVol has been active with the Penn State Alumni Association and West Chester Kiwanis, where he served as President.

Mr. DeVol joined his father after graduation to become the third generation DeVol in the life insurance business. He holds equity and insurance licenses for all lines.
