A new training program entitled the SCHOOL SAFETY ASSESSMENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM which provides schools with federal level training to assist in securing Special Education funding has been announced today.


The new program trains and certifies school based personnel to audit their safety, emergency management and Special Education systems – known by the U.S. Department of Education as a Climate Assessment. This assessment provides important documentation for schools to apply for Federal grant monies.

SERAPH’s Dale Yeager Keynote Speaker for the INTERNATIONAL SPECIAL EVENTS SOCIETY Meeting

SERAPH’s Dale Yeager was the keynote speaker for the INTERNATIONAL SPECIAL EVENTS SOCIETY meeting on November 13, 2013.

Mr. Yeager’s talk was entitled “The Event Management Dilemma” Security – Emergencies and Bad Management.

The event was held at the Resorts Hotel and Casino- Atlantic City, New Jersey.

On November 6, 2012, SERAPH partnered with Philadelphia law firm Stradley Ronon to produce an international business event entitled “Stealers Keepers” U.S. and International IPR Protection and Product Counterfeiting Countermeasures.

The event featured the Chinese Embassy Intellectual Property Attaché Fuli Chen who spoke of Chinese law and intellectual property and keynote speaker Samuel Blackstone. Mr. Blackstone is the Global Crisis Management Specialist for SERAPH.

The Transportation Security Administration on Wednesday urged foreign security agencies to ramp up security after receiving intelligence reports that terrorists might try to surgically implant explosives in the bodies of suicide bombers.

White House spokesman Jay Carney said the intelligence that led to the warning “does not relate to an imminent or specific threat,” but the TSA issued a statement saying that travelers heading to the U.S. from foreign nations may notice screeners taking additional protections.

“Measures may include interaction with passengers, in addition to the use of other screening methods such as pat-downs and the use of enhanced tools and technologies,” TSA spokesman Nicholas Kimball said.
