Pierre de Hail is the president of Risk Management International, Inc., a risk management & security-consulting firm specialized in providing logistical assistance to corporations operating overseas. Focus of services provided is the protection of all corporate interests against any outside threats (security, financial, political, cultural, labor related, etc), specifically in a global environment. He interfaces on a daily basis with Fortune 500 corporations, acting as an independent and objective advisor for all risk and security related issues and managed simultaneously various projects ranging from evacuation planning to sites surveys and executive protection details overseas.

 Pierre has over 20 years of experience at managerial level in International Security and Crisis Management.  His areas of expertise include: Risk Management; Policy Planning & Development; Critical Incident Management; Threat Assessment & Risk Analysis; Security Training, Residential, Workplace & Travel Security; Evacuation Planning and Organization; International Investigations; Kidnap & Ransom Negotiation; Labor Relations, Domestic & International Law Enforcement liaison; Media Relations, Executive Protection, Security Operations & Aviation Logistics.

Prior to assuming his current position, Pierre was the Worldwide Security Operations Manager for the world largest medical assistance company, International SOS. Among other things, during his tenure, he coordinated the evacuation of nearly 3,000 personnel in 4 ½ days from Indonesia in 1998 as well managed numerous evacuation operations in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America and Europe. He was also responsible for the development implementation and training of all security policies and procedures for over 29 Regional Alarm Centers and 45 offices throughout the world.

Prior to his civilian career, Pierre served at senior executive level with distinction for a European government in the field of Intelligence, Counter Terrorism and Law Enforcement, directly advising and briefing at top executive government level. Throughout his tenure with the government and for the private sector, he has completed numerous high-risk assignments that led to reside or travel extensively in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Over the years, he has acquired an extensive knowledge of the international security market and developed an extensive network of security providers throughout the world.

Pierre is a dual citizen of France and the United States. His upbringing in Europe and Africa, as well as his numerous travels has given him a unique expertise on risk and security issues in a global market.

Pierre holds a Bachelor in Military Intelligence and Special Operations, a Master in International Relations and a Master in Sociology. As a well-respected International Risk Management and Security authority, he has consulted and lectured for governments and a large number of multi-national corporations and Fortune 500 firms on a broad spectrum of issues ranging from Crisis Management to Terrorism & International Relations.  He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), a member of the Society for Competitor Intelligence (SCIP) and a member of the “Inner Circle” a European organization composed of former senior government advisors.
