SERAPH Partners With Brick Township Police Department and Brick Public Schools For Federal School Security Auditing – Special Education Assessment Program

Brick NJ

The Brick Township Police Department and Brick Public Schools have partnered with national school safety frim SERAPH to provide training for School Safety and Special Education assessment.

The SCHOOL SECURITY MANAGEMENT AUDIT – SCHOOL SAFETY ASSESSMENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM provides school officials with unique training in the planning and execution of a Federal level [USDOE] audit of school security equipment, management systems and polices as they relate to the proper management of a safe school environment.

“The program is unique because it allows a school and local police department to learn how a correct audit is to be performed.” States SERAPH CEO Dale Yeager. “Sadly, most schools hire firms that do not understand IDEA, LEA minimum standards or other education laws that must be considered in this process.”

Currently Brick Township Police Department and Brick Public Schools have created a task force and have had their initial training and certification and are working on phase one of the audit process.

“At the end of this process SERAPH will provide the team with our Grant Map which will assist them in securing additional federal grant money for the school district and police department.”
