Dale Yeager on Talk Forensics

Talk Forensics Welcomes guest, Dale Yeager

Talk Forensics Welcomes this week’s guest, Dale Yeager, Criminal Analyst & Psychological Profiler, President, and CEO of SERAPH Corporation to Talk Forensics. Mr. Yeager began his education as a criminal analyst in 1988. He has extensive training in criminal psychology, forensic psychology, sex crimes investigation, and crime scene forensics / procedures and domestic terrorism analysis including advanced training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

As a criminal analyst, Mr. Yeager has consulted on numerous criminal cases, including the first murder investigation of JonBenet Ramsey. Renowned Criminal Analyst Dale Yeager says due diligence through the use of forensic profiling could have predicted the $50 million Ponzi scheme allegedly orchestrated by Bernard Madoff. Without profiling and psychological assessment, financial clients often can be manipulated by con artists, said Yeager, a forensic expert retained for numerous high-profile criminal investigations. The federal Securities and Exchange Commission has launched an internal investigation to determine why it missed repeated opportunities to discover the alleged fraud.

“SERAPH was the first security consulting firm to use forensic profiling in business investigations.“In this day and age, it is irresponsible to use old investigative methods to determine risk,” Yeager said. “But that is what is being done by some of the largest risk-management firms in the country – to the detriment of their clients.”

Mr. Yeager’s research work on violence has been published in the:

FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin
“Profiling Violent Crimes” by Dr. Ronald Holmes.
Mr. Yeager has lectured at many prestigious institutions throughout the U.S. such as Drexel and Howard universities.

In 2002, Mr. Yeager was given a presidential appointment to the U.S. Selective Service System and in 2004; he became a member of the FBIs’ InfraGard counterterrorism program.

In 2005, Mr. Yeager was appointed to the development committee for the Fairleigh Dickinson University, School Security Administration Masters program
